Apple TV could generate $13 Billion Revenue in the US Market alone

The Apple TV is not even out, yet predictions has started going moving around that the product could earn Apple up to $13 billion revenue from the consumers in the US, said a study from Morgan Stanley. The device in question is still a theory for now, but the news that got to us reveals that Apple plans an internet connect TV.

A report on Wednesday from the Wall Street Journal is that Apple with its Asian suppliers are testing out designs for a TV set, it could be the said planned Apple TV., and also in recent times, CEO Tim Cook hinted about the product in an interview with Brian Williams of NBC.

“When I go into my living room and turn on the TV, I feel like I have gone backwards in time by 20 to 30 years,” Cook said in a segment on NBC’s “Rock Center.” “It’s an area of intense interest. I can’t say more than that.”

In an Alphawise poll of 1,568 house heads ran by Morgan Stanley, Kate Huberty and research team, they found out that 11 percent said that they would be “extremely interested” in getting the Apple TV, and 36 percent said tick the “Somewhat interested.”

They never minded the big prices that Apple usually place on its sleek line gadgets. About 46 percent agreed to purchase the Apple TV for more than $1000, which goes around 20 percent markups for the standard price of the present TV set. 10 percent agreed to budget more than $2000 in an interest of sitting before an Apple TV.

This was analyzed to a profit of about $4.05 on one share if the Apple TV eventually comes alive.  At the last quarterly announcement of Apple financial report, the company netted $8.67 on a unit Apple Share.

The Apple TV is just an hypothesis for now, what is in market now is a TV box that is able to link traditional TV sets to online media, and it is also called Apple TV, Apple is yet to makes its own high resolution screen set, which is dreamt to be internet connected.

While the analyst was interest alone in the powerful income Apple could generate from the TV set, they forgot to mention how Apple can have an impact in the Television Industry just like it did with music with iPod and iTunes.

Although Apple may not be interested to go to that length, but it is possible it launches its own virtual cable network to rival Dish Networks and Time Warner Cable.
