    After i installed the Alexa toolbar, my Alexa ranking drastically improved after a month. One of my sites ranks 500k, whilst another one ranks around 100k.. great stuff! the only thing I would say, is that i am not sure how much value this has added to my blog. Advertisers approach me in the same amounts as before i believe.

    Excellent post! Well yes link building is an important factor and building links from high PR sites can be effective to improve site/blog rank and yes installing alexa toolbar is a god strategy, as alexa gathers data using toolbar, so it will be useful to lower alexa rank .     One good trick is to use the Alexa referral URL for your domain as most as you can, Alexa count those hits and the more you get you’ll get a better ranking.
