iOS 5 Untethered Jailbreak by pod2G [Video]

There is good news for everyone who’s looking for iOS 5 untethered jailbreak. Very soon, you’ll start to jailbreak your iOS 5 smartphone untethered.

The Chronic Dev Team has recently released a CDevReporter which will allow users to report crash reports of their iOS device, so that they can thereby release an untethered jailbreak solution to their OS 5 devices problems. By using the CDevReporter reports, the Chronic Dev Team will be able to developed a solution that will bring about the iOS 5 untethered jailbreak. Recently, we published an article where a hacker by name @pod2g demonstrated a video on iphone iOS5 untethered jailbreak and he’d updated his Twitter page as well about it.

According to Pod2g, he has not tested the jailbreak tool on iPad 2 or iPhone 4S as he doesn’t have an iPad 2 or iPhone 4S. Pod2g has stated that the upcoming jailbreak tool will support iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, iPad on iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1. pod2G has not provided any information whether iPhone 4S and iPad 2 users will be able to use this jailbreak tool or not. Currently no information available about the release date of this jailbreak tool. It is expected that soon Chronic Dev Team will release this tool which will bring iOS 5 untethered jailbreak. Presently you can only jailbreak your iOS device on the iOS 5 tethered and after that use the SemiTether tool to reboot your iOS device without the need of connecting it to your computer.
