1. Picnik
This is one of our personal favorites as it does countless tricks with photos that truly spice things up. With this free tool you can crop images, re-size them, add captions or graphics even embed wacky fonts or icons onto the pic. It’s easy and intuitive and one of the few sites on the web that let you use it without requiring you to register. Although this is an option should you wish to save your masterpieces.
2. SupaLogo
This is a simple site that allows you to create a text based logo. You decide the size, the font and other goodies. It’s not meant for full blown flashy logos, but for a simple text based logo give this free tool a try. You can use this logo on your site if you haven’t get on before.
3. DPD
Want to sell something digital via your blog? Maybe an ebook or PDF file. Digital Product Delivery is similar to e-Junkie in that it’s a payment and goods processor. However e-Junkie charges $5.00 a month to use whereas DPD is free for one item. Meaning you can sell up to one digital item through them at no cost. They have a great interface, are easy to use and have a full blown feature set including payment processing, digital delivery and more.
4. Meeting Burner
If you’re looking to conduct online meetings or webinars, you might want to look at Meeting Burner. Since they’re relatively new they have a free option when you avail of less than 50 members in a meeting. Skype integration is available as is recording and sharing. This is a fantastic new tool for creating webinars for your blog, membership site or other similar project.
5. Animoto
Another one of our personal faves, this site allows you to take a series of pictures and create a cool video complete with sound bites, music, captions and animation. They also allow easy one button export to YouTube and other video sites. This is great for when you can’t afford fancy video software to create and edit your blog videos but still want a good and FREE option to create fun image-based videos.
