Apple Inc. has announced today that they have received more than one million iPhone 4S pre-orders within the first 24 hours of announcing it.
Philip Schiller, the Apple’s senior vice president of the Worldwide Product Marketing said, “We are blown away with the incredible customer response to iPhone 4S.”
He declares that the first day pre-orders for the iPhone 4S have been the most for all of their products since exception. Apple says, it shows that the product really love the product and we are trilled that customers love iPhone 4S as much as we do.
This number tops the previous record for Apple held by iPhone 4 which sold about 600,000 units in pre-order on the first day.
AT&T had previously announced that they (their store) alone were responsible for the 200,000 iPhone 4S pre-orders.
However, the new iPhone 4S will be officially launched on October 14th when it will finally become available in all retail stores for consumers to start buying it. All pre-orders would also arrive to all the customers at about the same time when the phone becomes available.

I really enjoy my iphone 4 and I’ve heard some of the capabilities of the 4S…but is it really such a great difference that I should upgrade? I think my phone works just fine and I’d rather hold onto it for at least another year or two before I decide to move up a version…there’s always going to be a better version coming out. How often do you think one should (or needs to) upgrade their iphone??

Yes, I agree with you on your suggestion. I think it is nice to follow your mind in this kind of situation 🙂 Thanks
That latest model of the iPhone has features you won’t see from other competitors, and that includes tons of handy apps and features. The marketing blitz utilized by Apple can also be attributed for the pre-orders to reach that mind-blowing scale.
