Another developer, iPhone Dev-Team has just announced the latest release of its CLI tool to jailbreak iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 Untethered on iOS 5.0.1. CLI tool is a tool that allows users to jailbreak iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 Untethered in a command line user interface. You will need to type different commands via the terminal during the process.
However, the Absinthe tool allows users to jailbreak iPhone 4S and Apple iPad 2 Untethered through a graphical user interface. You can use CLI tool as a troubleshooting utility. It allows you to debug and diagnose issues in iPhone 4S or iPad 2 after the jailbreak session.
Inside the CLI tool, you have access to up to twenty options and even more – and you can use these options when you are debugging.
This tool is only available for Mac users presently and the version for Windows users will be released soon.
