With our phones having access to literally all of our important data, from banking accounts all the way down to wifi passwords and even our physical location – should we be more concerned than we are? Furthermore, with digital currencies like Bitcoin and online wallets from Google and PayPal, your phone has access to more than a fair share of your income at any moment that it’s powered on.
But the question lingering on my mind is; how safe is your smartphone? What happens when your phone gets hacked or perhaps it ends up in the wrong hands? Identity theft is an all too common occurrence in the developed world – affecting millions of individuals each year. If you are using your phone on wifi, make sure it is a password protected network, just as you would on a PC at home.

That depends on the user, there will always be the “how to disable” side of every technology. I think by exposing these spying activities, we’re keeping people informed so they may take right action to avoid being tracked.

I hate when my phone slow downs because of corrupt or junk files. One can download a no. if antivirus from the internet but it is a tough job to choose best one for your mobile. Glad to read this about mobile safety and reliability.

Agree with your points Daniel. Backups are the only way out now a days. Even using patterns, or lock codes are of no use now a days because people have cracked the loop hole. Some people may do new things in the name to improve security and some exploit it to hack into other’s gadgets…. Nothing is safe these days.
Nothing is safe especially if it is online! You just need to make sure that your ass is safe by keeping what needed to be online where it is due, and what is not likewise.
