Tips to improve email marketing for Business to Business (B2B) are different from that of Business to Consumer (B2C) email. However, it is quite difficult for most of the marketers to built powerful and successful campaigns.  These problems are mainly because of following two leading false impressions:

First of all, a lot of people presume that Business-to-Business email should have a commercial speak and should be approached with a methodical and competent mentality.

3. Consider the receiver’s goals

If your audience is huge and multiple, that may require multiple iterations, which should be brief, focused and towards the goal.

6. Story telling

The realistic stories can be added to your emails. People are interested in stories and the receiver would surely be a person.  Try to give your audience the things they will like.

If your timings are fixed in sending emails every day, week or month consistently, the open rate will be higher. As it gives an impression that you are informed about your job. People do notice and show their reaction when you emit such kind of image.

8. Offer solutions

  1. The days of sending out multiple emails in the same week are long gone. It does not take a lot for people to feel they are being spammed. Because the tolerance is so low, every email needs to offer value or something useful to the reader/recipient.

  2. Now a days people are making a optional email ID, for keeping the unwanted things in a separate place. Because most of the time people and website owner send too many mails which seems so annoying that people put them to junk folder or delete them without reading.

  3. Ah! Very useful tips, for sure. Follow these religiously over a period of time and I’m sure you will be able to find the desired results out of your email marketing campaigns. I guess, out of these pointers, #3 is most important. We need to think from the point of view of the receivers, as well. This is something we forget most of the times. We must first try to develop an easy communication with the receiver(s), before shooting marketing and advertising info. This will give them some time to chew about the brand, before they pro-actively take interest in the products/ services.

  4. As stated in 4th point segmentation is very important. It allows you to know your customers and target them with relevant messages.
