Kickstand desk is here to help bloggers to productivity!
Blogging is an act which involves long hours of good or bad body posture on a seat for the person who indulges in it. But research has clearly proves it that sitting down for a very long time in one position in front of a PC is not good for the healthy living of every individuals, it means that bloggers now need to be extra smart enough in order to remain productive. The rate at which people are becoming obese these days is at peak and there must be a solution to that. That is where Kickstand Desk comes into action!
Kickstands Desk allows bloggers to have good work out at their working place or at home while they are playing on their bicycle-like chair with the help of the desk joint to the bike.
On daily basis, standing desks are becoming more popular as people are trying to improve their posture (especially smart bloggers). This desk attached with a bike will let you exercise on the bike while you work without much hassle.
The desk can be set to higher level as tall as 130 cm (51 inches) in order to provide sufficient spaces for handle bars and gears while its footers lifts the bike from the ground allowing free pedalling as if the user were in the park rather than the office.
Unlike the original desks which normally include bike machines or treadmills, there is nothing like an in-built tracker or machine. That means, with Kickstand, you can be able to pedal away as fast or slow as you it pleases you.
For those people who normally ride or cycle to work, it may not means many things to them but those who are doing home based business or work from home jobs would find this very interesting because it will help them to keep their body fit at all times.
The current price tag placed on this desk is $1,990 (it might be too hard to justify the price, though). If you’re buying it from the United States (US), shipping is free to your destination but if you are overseas, you might need to pay some fair amount of money to get it.
Ok, It is good for training on rainy days, but I can’t imagine that someone could work on it for a few hours or longer. It seems very uncomfortable, working at the desk when you don’t have any back support.
I believe it is interesting to me and it is good to chase away Obesity as well
I like this idea, however like many of these office chair variations, the lack of a back support can be a problem when you are there for some time. Not sure how you would fit a back support to a bike though!
Wow what a brilliant office desk idea! I think this should also be promoted in other appropriate offices. This can really help people become more fit especially those who stay seated in their chairs at the office for hours.
