what’s Wrong with PayPal? I’ve been using that for many decades and have yet to run into issues. also, Pay pal backside up the client in most situations where you argument the declare, so it’s very much a win scenario for the client if they were offended by the owner.
Great post, I love PayPal but when it is becoming too hard for people to use every part of the world, I think it would be nice to have alternatives. Thanks for sharing this 🙂
I have paypal and alertpay account, both are of good use to me:) I just don’t understand why paypal is not available in some countries.
I have very nice experience with escrow .. its helped me to sell my blog to a US citizen . Really awesome transaction system .
Hi Sai,
I’m happy that you have used Escrow before with good experience. Thanks for your comment
I think there’s nothing wrong with PayPal. There are just cases like this that happens. Anyway, there’s still a lot of alternatives out there.
MANY THINGS WRONG WITH PAYPAL!!!!
They claimed to be the best and still failed to expand to every nation of the world. That is absurd!
Thanks for your comment
i am waiting for my payoneer card and i hope they can solve the problems i may have in getting payments abroad
Patiently wait, it will get to you no matter how long. I made a reorder twice, but the first one eventually came and it was useless though.
Thanks for this information! Indeed, the problems with paypal go on until now and people are still looking for alternatives. I also had to go through this a couple of years ago. From what I know I could add 2Checkout as a good and promising alternative which it really handy for people who cannot use paypal. Other options i have considered were Skrill and Paysera as they were offering flexible services for smaller price than 2checkout.
Yes they are but they aren’t available for Nigerians.
I personally think PayPal has failed Africans with the way they have been handling issue that relates to African businesses. Little do they know that strong competitors are gearing up even from the continent to wrestle the world leaders in the online payments and ecommerce industry.
Today, WorldRemit and VTN, Nigerian well-known mobile payment service provider joined hands in making transfer of funds to and from Nigeria a bit quicker and easier, and I know many other establishments are gearing up to form a partnership with the giants anytime soon.
Don’t be surprised when PayPal service will no longer be needed in Nigeria and other African countries anytime soon. I know that for sure except they acted fast by jumping on the opportunity.
