The easiest way to make money from the internet, is not affiliate marketing alone. Does it shock you? Well, I have my proofs and as you read between the lines of this article, be ready to pat yourself on the shoulder and take action.
There are goldmines to pick up. I ventured into affiliate marketing in July, 2009. That year was spent writing articles, submitting to directories and earned a total of $110.54 only.
That’s not fair at all.
All though, I know some internet marketers who are making 6 figures from their affiliate businesses. But the truth is, “85% of 100 people who started marketing affiliate offers will give give up, even before they make their first commission.”
So, what’s left – your knowledge is your edge to make extra income from the internet. No matter the knowledge you’ve, it can be sold for profits usig some creative mediums.
I’ve been selling my knowledge and skills since 2010 and earns nothing less than $2,000 monthly. That income may not be awesome for 6 figure income earners, but that’s too huge for beginners and even intermediates.
In order to sell your skill, knowledge and talent for money, below are steps you should take. They are arranged in ascending order, that means you’ve got to do the first before the second. So, let’s begin…

1. Determine Your Knowledge
What knowledge have you got? You should be clear about it. Are you good in writing articles, web design and developments, copywriting, search engine optimization, consulting, no matter what it is, you can sell it for huge profits.
Your passion can also be a source of income for you. One of my college friend, is good at researching and documenting data(s). Immediately we left college, he started his review coupon blog that shares free sittercity coupon codes and 6pm.com discounts for online shoppers and you could imagine how much he used to make from that blog little times after the launch of the site. That is how knowledge works!
As a rabid niche, he’s profiting and enjoying his business. As you can see from this example, he does not sell affiliate products and banners, he simply research shopping deals and earn via many sources.
Therefore, determine what you’re good, think about it clearly until you can touch it with your mind, then move on to step two.
2. Find Your End Users
Your knowledge is not for you. You need people who can exchange your knowledge for money. When looking for end users, ask yourself questions and guage what goes on inside your mind. Know that there are other people who have the same knowledge as yours, why must end users resort your your knowledge instead of your competitors’
Hang out with friends and family. Determine their motivating factors, there is no better way to know the needs of a person, than from their words. We are fashioned by mother nature to respond and react to our inside by speaking out.
So, visit discussion boards, in your niche and read the open threads. Answer questions and become active. The moment people begins to perceive you as honest and generous, they would pour out their greatest needs to you. And believe me, that’s priceless!
3. Package Your Knowledge And Sell
It’s much easier to sell to those you already know their needs. Creating products that solves that problem is an easy assignment too. So, get started in creating your first product. There are several ways to package your knowledge and sell from your blog.
You can create a landing page that highlights your writing services, web design services, online consulting services and the likes. A blog is perfect for credible advertising and I advice you employ this into your marketing arsenal, even when you’ve got a package report. I’ve landed great deals from a single tiny “hire me” page on my blog, than from $47 short reports. So, you know what to do!

4. Focus On Customer Service
Customer service is the bedrock of every high-flying business. Whether the business is offline or online, you need to treat people; your buyers with respect, decency and appreciation. When someone finally responds to your offer, it’s your customer service that would sustain/retain them. Happy customers are reap customers – so you’ve got to give them what they want. How?
The answer is simple but often neglected. When you promise a thing, make sure you deliver, Don’t promise what you cannot do. As much as you can, go the extra mile and over-deliver on what you promise.
For instance, if your service includes a free 2 months tele-consulting, why not extend an open arm and make it 3 months. Or better still, offer your new product launch as a surprise bonus to every customer, especially the old ones.
If you can treat your customers well, they would put more money into your bank account, and help you with every step you need in future product creation, launch and viral marketing. There you’ve it, the 4 steps needed to sell your knowledge for profits using a wordpress blog. Action is what you need now, go and take it!
