The Sony Xperia Z is dust proof and water resistant
Ahead of this launch, there have been several leaks and rumors of the Sony smartphone. Some of the prominent features that make this smartphone unique of others include;
A 1.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.
A 5-inch full HD screen with resolution 1920 x 1080.
The device is coming out of the box running the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean; no one knows what the smartphone company was thinking that the Sony Xperia Z could not arrive with the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The Sony Xperia Z is optimized with a 16GB internal memory that could be expanded to 32GB via the microSD card slot provided, the smartphone has a support of a 2GB RAM.
Sony has made a support for the 4G/LTE band for high-speed connectivity on the Sony Xperia Z just like we have on the Samsung Galaxy S III, iPhone 5, and other powerful smart devices.
Sony whoops the ass of other devices with the camera it has installed on the Sony Xperia Z. The rear camera of the device has a power of 13.1 megapixels, while the front facing video call camera goes to 2.2 megapixels. The Samsung Galaxy S III and the Apple iPhone 5 only have an 8 megapixel camera at its rear.
The Sony Xperia Z has the Near Field Communication (NFC) support.
Sony made water and dust resistant cover on the Sony Xperia Z smartphone.
I see this device as a big rival to the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S III. The price and the availability period is yet to be unveiled.
Do you think the Sony Xperia Z can compete with Samsung Galaxy S III and iPhone 5?
