ays ago, Apple released its list for the best iOS apps and games for the year 2011. The App Store Rewind (available on in iTunes match) is a subset of annual Apple’s iTunes Rewind feature, which includes Apple’s top picks in the categories such as music, movies, TV shows, App Store, Books and Podcasts.
Now let turn our attention to the top ones
App was on top of the list as it made it in 20 picks categories ranging from books to weather, and chose the top five apps in each category. This year Apple did it with a little differently from that of the years past, separating iPhone and iPad apps.
The big winners are the App of the Year awards, which were distributed in four categories are:
- iPhone App of the Year
- iPhone Game of the Year
- iPad App of the Year
- iPad Game of the Year
- iPhone App of the Year – Instagram (App Store, free)
- iPhone Game of the Year – Tiny Tower (App Store, free)
- iPad App of the Year – Snapspeed (App Store, $4.99)
- iPad Game of the Year – Dead Space for iPad (App Store, $4.99)

Apple undoubtedly is the best brand. Their engineers designs the best apps and only the App store have fans spending the night outside the store to get Apple products.
