LG Venice with 4.3″ IPS LCD launched, now on Boost Mobile

The new LG Venice is now on the popular carrier, Boost Mobile, the carrier was the big player in the Samsung Galaxy S II, now, and LG is giving out Boost Mobile the LG Venice to vendor. The mobile offers a 4.3 inch WVGA display protected with the Gorilla Glass. The processor running the LG Venice clocks a speed of 1 GHz, the primary rear facing camera is powered up to 5MP that can record video at 720p, more specs includes a user interface of LG’s UI 3.0.

More features on the specs sheet of the LG Venice are as follows

The LG Venice device comes with a touch sensitive IPS LCD 4.3 inches capacitive touchscreen display that has 16M colors and looks like 480 x 800 pixels resolution with a pixel density of ~217 ppi. The LG Venice covered with the Gorilla Glass features a multitouch. The LG Venice smartphone is powered by Cortex-A5 processor and runs with Operating System, Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. The chipset on the LG Venice device is a Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon product having and Adreno 200 GPU. The sensors include accelerometer, compass and proximity.

The LG Venice carries an internal storage of 4 GB with available 2.4 GB for user, it also has a microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 32 GB and supported by a 512 MB RAM.The rear facing primary camera has a power of 5 MP with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, the camera features includes LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, video 1080p@30fps, and touch focus. The LG Venice also has a secondary front camera optimized for video chatting.

The connectivity features on the LG Venice includes; GPRS Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots), 32 – 48 kbps, EDGE Class 12, Speed of HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps and is facilitated with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, GPS with A-GPS support, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, NFC support, microUSB v2.0 connector.

Additional features that come on the LG Venice smartphone are Java via Java MIDP emulator, SNS integration, HTML 5 browser, Adobe flash, MMS, Email, Push Email, SMS, and MMS etc.

The LG Venice supports DivX/Xvid/MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV player, as well as MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ player. More features includes; Document editor, Google search, Maps, YouTube, Gmail, GoogleTalk, Organizer, predictive text input and voice memo/dial commands. LG empowered the LG Venice device with a standard Li-Ion 1700mAh battery. The LG Venice smartphone weighs 122g and its dimension is 125.5 x 67 x 8.7 mm.

Boost Mobile will be offering the LG Venice smartphone device at $220 and it will be hitting the shelves from October 10.

      The device has been around since 2014. Guess it will be rare to get a new one, you could only get used on Ebay and other market.
