Nokia is one of the most successful brand in the whole world. There are so many handset manufacturing companies here But My preference always goes to Nokia. Even the date I started using cell phone, I never left using Nokia. So I am here to talk about the latest announced cell phone from Nokia named as Nokia C5-06.
This is the latest cell phone From Nokia announced few days ago and will be releasing the fourth quarter of this year 2011.
The phone’s measurement is 105.8 x 51 x 13.8 mm. It is very light weight phone i.e. 93 grams. It has a 3.2 inches display with TFT resistive Touch screen which having 360×640 pixels of resolution. It will be featuring accelerometer sensor which is responsible for auto rotate. There will a nice feature called handwriting recognition.
The phone will be having 3.5mm audio jack for better sound quality. It will be having 40 MB of internal memory with 128 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM. There will be a card slot that can be extended up to 16GB.
For data connectivity it will be having GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB. Let me tell you this is not a 3G cell phone. It will only work with 2G network with GSM technology in the band ranges 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. The camera of the phone is 2 mega pixels and having 1600×1200 pixels of resolutions. The camera features geo-tagging and video recording feature. It will work on Symbian OS v9.4 and 600 MHz processor.
Nokia C5-06 will be coming with bundle of features such as Java MIDP 2.0, audio(MP3/WAV/?AAC+/WMA )/ video(MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV ) players, photo editor, QuickOffice, FM radio etc.
The battery inside it will be Li-Ion standard batter and it will be of 1000 mAh capacity. Ti will give back up upto:-
- Stand By:- around 600 hours
- Talk time:- around 11 hours.
- Music Play:- around 35 hours.
I also love Nokia but they keep on releasing phones that are outdated on today’s standards. My Nokia N82 released on 2007 is more powerful than this one.Maybe because they are losing the war on high-end market and wants to clutter the lower-end market with these kinds of devices.
That is true about Nokia but hope things will change soon. Thanks for comment 🙂
Usually when you’ve been using a certain brand of mobile phone for a long time, it becomes difficult to switch to another brand. And the interface and the physical dimensions have lot to do with it more than the brand. This also goes with other products, like cars for example.
Thanks Tari for you views on this cell phone. great to see your comment.
Hi Atihs, you are welcome here and hoping to see more reviews from you soonest 🙂
