The Samsung Galaxy Camera is a smartphone, but combines the power of a camera. At first when I heard the name given to the device, I was a little skeptical, not knowing what the device actually is. Later, I got to know that Samsung had just made a Digital camera on a smartphone. Even, the features, such as the lens power and bogus storage on the device really suggest its job. The Samsung Galaxy Camera is powered by Android and it is available on AT&T. The price has not yet being revealed, but it is suggested that it will probably go around 599 Euros.

This Samsung Galaxy Camera is synergized to incorporate the power of photography with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating System, the AT&T 4G connectivity is also available on the device. The Samsung Galaxy Camera arrives with a super bright 16 MP BSI CMOS sensors that will enable you shoot extra-quality images. For quick responsive performance, the Samsung Galaxy Camera is powered by a quad core 1.4GHz processor and runs on the Jelly Bean Operating System, (Android 4.1).

Samsung has built a Super Clear LCD capacitive touchscreen 4.8 inches display that looks like 16M colors with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution with a pixel density of ~306 ppi. Other display features on the Samsung Galaxy Camera includes multitouch, protection with the Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and TouchWiz UI. The onboard storage is 8GB with a microSD card slot provided to extend storage up to 32 GB more, it is supported by a 1 GB RAM. The connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy Camera includes Speed of HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps; LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, GLONASS and microUSB v2.0 connector.

The powerful camera features included on the Samsung Galaxy Camera includes; ISO sensitivity that ranges as 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200 as well as Optical Image stabilization, a lens is featured with F2.8, 23mm having 21x super long zoom. The camera was finished at 16 MP and it features autofocus, pop-up Xenon flash, Wide-angle 23mm lens, touch focus, AF light, geo-tagging, 21x optical zoom, face and smile detection, touch focus, full HD video recording at 1080p@30fps, 720 x 480@120fps, optical image stabilization etc. The Samsung Galaxy Camera has a Smart Pro Mode technology.

Samsung empowered the Samsung Galaxy Camera with a standard Li-Ion 1650 mAh battery that boasts to be strong enough for backup. The weight of the Samsung Galaxy Camera is 305g with a dimension of 128.7 x 70.8 x 19.1 mm.
